This is an absolutely brilliant juicer. Its quiet, really quiet, and it has a large chute which can accommodate a whole apple, pear or beetroot. Its about as easy to clean as any other juicer I've had and we use it every morning. Contrary to what previous comments have said, I NEVER core my apples or pears, not even pineapple. But I always make sure it is spinning at full speed before I put anything down the shute and I haven't had any problems. All round excellent product.

I use my juicer every day and I'm very happy with the way it works. I don't core or skin any fruit, except pinapple, and have had no trouble apart from grape seeds bouncing back out the top but I guess there's nothing that can be done about that. Compared to another juicer I tried this is much quicker and seems to extract more juice.

My Power Juicer was returned back under this free post number 3/219823 plus another number SL111340394 on 23/12/2010 because it was broken when juicing an apple. I was told that I would get another one because its still under warranty..................I haven't heard anything since the day I sent the above product. Please what is going on ? my whole house really enjoyed this product.
GUTHY-RENKER AUSTRALIA: Hi Sione, thanks for your feedback. I will give your details to our Customer Service team and ask them to follow this up.

The juicer is OK but it's underpowered. Even on moderate use with something like carrots, it frequently overloads and cuts out. I have a Breville juicer which is way better. Apart from this, someone in my house inadvertently threw the orange key out. Without it, the juicer is practically useless. I can't recommend it.

Sorry I should have responded sooner, the juicer I mentioned in my first post started to work again, I plugged it in the next day to check it before packing it in the box to send back but it worked and hasn't missed a beat since, I'm not sure what happened but assume it must have an overheat override mechanism which shut it down.
There was indeed an official response to my original post and I was assured of a replacement if returned within the time frame stipulated. But I didn't need to return the juicer because it started to work again and has worked fine since.

I had this juicer back in the States and I loved it. I miss my vegetable juices in the morning. Thankfully they have it here in Australia. I really like this product and rely on my experience with it, I do not believe in other people's opinions when I haven't even tested a product. Try things first, you never know!!!!!!!!

I use this every morning, it's fantastic. I don't core my apples, it happily takes pieces of melon with the skin still on, the only thing you need to take the skin off is citrus. It takes me about a minute to juice two glasses of mixed fruit. Absolutely wonderful and you can use the pulp in baking (it comes with a recipe book) though I haven't tried this yet. I've had this for some months and use it every day.

We purchased a power juicer thinking that it would be a great way to get our 5+ fruit/veges a day. We found it to be very time consuming and not what the add suggested ie no coring etc, just pop the fruit in, not even. We sent the juicer back, and think that the refund should include postage. Found that the customer service team is quick to respond when purchasing but not so quick to respond when returning item or following up it you want to know if your item has arrived back.

i too bought a power juicer and was so disapointed with it
on the ad you dont need to core or stem apples and grapes but in reality you do and if u dont already have a corer its extra money
and then you gotta pay for return postage which will be nearly $20 for me thats just not on
and for those who think its quiet well its certainly quieter than most but not whisper quiet like they say
in retrospect i regret getting it 110%

I received my juicer on Thursday the 30th September 2010, it is now Sunday the 3rd October 2010, after making about six mugs of juice this juicer "Jack LaLane's POWER JUICER, Model:CL-003API Class I Serial No O 46580156 Date code 0810. A/11969EA " has stopped working.
It was good whilst it was working, but for it to give up after four days is a big disappointment for me.
GUTHY-RENKER RESPONSE: We have been trying to get in contact with Chris, but have had no response from him.
